VIABAHIA renews the fleet of cranes, rescue units and operational vehicles

The concessionaire of ViaBahía has renewed its fleet of cranes, rescue units and operational vehicles, which are available to meet the needs of users 24 hours a day.

With the objective of offering the best possible service to the users of our assets in Brazil, ViaBahía has renewed its fleet of vehicles, thanks to an agreement between Cerqueira Vias and VITALMED to continue improving the quality and safety of the service.

“The new vehicles are more efficient, have more technological resources, require less maintenance, and make the road operation much better” explained ViaBahía’s Operations Director, Carlos Napolitano. He also assured that “our users win, because they will have more and more modern equipment at their disposal, 24 hours a day”.

The vehicles were incorporated to the concessionaire’s fleet and are available to the users in the section of the BR-116 as well as in the section of the BR-324 that ViaBahía manages, distributed in fifteen User Service Bases (SAUs).

Since 2010, until April 2019, more than seven hundred thousand users have been served by ViaBahía’s teams, among which we can highlight: road assistance, pre-hospital care or animal capture, among others.

With this initiative we continue to demonstrate our commitment to safety in all the assets in which we operate, trying to offer a quality service to the users of our roads.
