We support the community in Santa Catarina to face the COVID-19

CAMS continues to make progress in its policy of supporting the local communities in which it operates, committed even more strongly in the current context. In this case, as an active member of the community, it has collaborated with disadvantaged families in the Municipality of Santa Catarina.

This action has been carried out, thanks to the joint action with the DIF of Santa Catarina and our strategic ally in the construction of the Viaduct Santa Catarina, Garza Ponce Construction.

Two thousand basic baskets were delivered to the families most affected in the municipality by COVID-19. This action was carried out by the companies involved in the Santa Catarina Viaduct project. One thousand were contributed by ROADIS and the other thousand were contributed by GP Construction, which were distributed to two thousand families in the municipality thanks to the participation of volunteers from both companies.

This initiative is part of ROADIS’ responsibility plan, which, as an active member of the community, seeks to work together with the municipalities in the areas near the project.

During the pandemic, the company has committed to working with the municipality of Santa Catarina to support the people affected by this situation and with the reactivation of the Santa Catarina Viaduct project it hopes to contribute to Mexico’s economic recovery.

This initiative joins that carried out by the concessionaire in support of truck drivers who travel along the Monterrey-Saltillo Highway. This action, carried out during the first two months of the pandemic, helped more than 7,000 workers in a key sector for Mexico’s development.
