ROADIS reaches financial closing for Santa Catarina Viaduct

ROADIS has reached financial close for the construction of the Santa Catarina Viaduct in Mexico, which will have a total investment under management of approximately 7 billion Mexican pesos (approximately 330 million euros).

The Viaduct has been financed through a bond issuance in UDIs (certificados bursátiles) for a value of 3.5 billion Mexican pesos, with a term of 30 years and maturity in 2049. Additionally, the financing is completed with an investment of 3.5 billion Mexican pesos (approximately 115 million euros) in equity from ROADIS.

The Santa Catarina Viaduct consists of the construction and operation of an extension to the highway concession by means of an elevated viaduct that has the feasibility studies and the necessary permits to coexist harmoniously with the Santa Catarina River. The Viaduct will be 7.9 km long and will span from the end of the highway to the city of Monterrey. The project will solve the problems of heavy and light road traffic congestion on the Saltillo-Monterrey toll-free road.
