UNE- ISO 39001 defines the requirements for the management of road safety through preventive and continuous improvement.
ROADIS has received in its concession to operate the A4 highway, the certification “Road Safety Management Systems” according to the UNE-ISO 39001 of AENOR, one of the most international prestigious certifications in the road safety area.
The ISO 39001 is a preventative measure certification that recognizes good practices in road safety, having among its objectives to reduce the incidences and risks of serious accidents resulting from traffic on the roads.
ROADIS is responsible for the maintenance and operation of a section of the A4 highway, one of the main highways of Spain and main route between the center and south of the Peninsula. This concession of 64 km between Madrid and Ocaña has an average traffic intensity of 77,000 vehicles per day.
