ROADIS has collaborated with the Real Madrid Foundation in the organization of the II Alma Cup in Kheadah (Calcutta).
The tournament, which took place over two days, was attended by more than 130 beneficiaries of the project and 16 former students, all in the 5 to 18 age group, who enjoyed a day in which football was combined with the formation of values.
These days began in Hungary in 2014 and have already been held in Spain, Portugal, Panama and the Philippines. This season they have moved to the Kheadah Sports Partner School, sponsored by ROADIS with the intention of supporting the disadvantaged communities of Kheadah, in the surroundings of Calcutta.
The tournament culminated in the presentation of the trophies of respect, fellowship, equality, motivation and self-esteem by category. Among the institutional representatives was our Director of Communications and CR, Eduardo Calvo, who accompanied the Director of the International Area of the Real Madrid Foundation (WRF), Rosa Roncal, and the Secretary of the IIMC, Karin Näslund, during these exciting days.
With this initiative ROADIS continues to show its support for the development of the local communities in which it is present in India. As part of its collaboration with the Real Madrid Foundation, ROADIS is trying to support minors at risk of exclusion through the values shared by ROADIS and the WRF, such as respect, teamwork and the desire to improve
