ROADIS donates a refractometer in India

From ROADIS’ offices in India, a donation of an ophthalmic refractometer was made to the Surat Civil Hospital (Gujarat) last September.

This refractometer will serve to clearly and precisely determine various problems that can affect vision such as:

  • Refractive errors: myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism…
  • Refraction of infants and children from 2 months of age, older adults, disabled patients…
  • Early detection of multiple risk factors.
  • Visual abnormalities that may be related to anisometropia, anisocoria, strabismus…
  • Pupil parameters: pupil size, pupil distance and head tilt
  • Automatic measurement of the dynamic response of the pupils to programmable light stimuli
  • Centring of lenses in the chosen frame

In addition to the delivery of medical equipment, ROADIS helped deliver more than 10,000 prescription cards to facilitate the doctors’ work in the first months.

The Civil Hospital is located in the municipality of Surat, in the state of Gujarat, where the section of the NH-6 managed by ROADIS begins.

The event was attended by the PR manager in India, Naresh Mehta and employees of NH-6, on behalf of ROADIS. All hospital employees accompanied Dhavel Patel and Dr. Mathur at the time of delivery of the medical device.

With this initiative, we continue to advance our Corporate Responsibility strategy!
